SOLVO Shipping Policy

Last updated: 01 September 2026

SOLVO delivers smart solutions to serviceable addresses throughout South Africa. This Shipping Policy explains our delivery charges, estimated delivery times and what happens if an order is delayed, damaged or cannot be delivered.

Order processing

Orders are normally prepared for dispatch within 1–2 business days after payment has been successfully confirmed.

Orders placed on weekends or South African public holidays will be processed from the next business day. A business day is Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays.

Customers will receive an order confirmation using the contact information supplied during checkout.

Delivery areas

We deliver to serviceable physical addresses within South Africa.

Delivery to certain remote or outlying areas may take longer. If we or our courier cannot service the supplied address, we will contact the customer to arrange an alternative address or cancel and refund the affected order.

Delivery charges

Orders with a qualifying subtotal of R1,000.00 or more receive free standard delivery.

For orders below R1,000.00, delivery costs are calculated and displayed at checkout.

The applicable delivery charge will be shown before the customer completes payment. The free-delivery threshold is calculated after discounts have been applied.

Estimated delivery times

After dispatch, estimated delivery is:

3–7 business days depending on the area.

Delivery times are estimates unless SOLVO expressly agrees to a specific delivery date in writing. Delays may occasionally occur because of severe weather, courier disruption, public holidays, high order volumes or other circumstances outside our reasonable control.

We will keep the customer reasonably informed about any material delay. Nothing in this policy limits the customer’s rights under South African consumer law.

Tracking orders

Where tracking is available, the customer will receive tracking information after the parcel has been handed to the courier.

Customers are responsible for providing a complete and accurate delivery address, telephone number and email address. Please contact us immediately if any information needs to be corrected. We cannot guarantee that an address can be changed after dispatch.

Receiving an order

The customer, or another person authorised by the customer, may be required to accept the delivery.

Responsibility for the goods remains with SOLVO until the goods have been delivered to the customer or the customer’s authorised recipient, subject to applicable law.

If nobody is available to accept the parcel, the courier may contact the customer, attempt redelivery or return the parcel to SOLVO. A reasonable additional delivery charge may apply where another delivery is required because an incorrect address was supplied or delivery could not be completed for reasons attributable to the customer. Any such charge will be communicated before redelivery.

Damaged, incorrect or missing orders

Please inspect the parcel as soon as reasonably possible after delivery.

If an item arrives damaged, incorrect or incomplete, contact us promptly at solvoit2026@gmail.com and provide:

  • Your order number
  • A description of the problem
  • Clear photographs of the item and packaging, where applicable

We will investigate and arrange an appropriate remedy in accordance with the CPA and other applicable law. Requesting prompt notification helps us investigate with the courier, but does not remove any rights the customer may have under South African law.

Late or unsuccessful delivery

If we cannot fulfil an order because a product is unavailable, we will notify the customer and refund payments relating to that product as soon as reasonably possible and within the period required by law.

Under ECTA, an online order must generally be executed within 30 days unless another period has been agreed. If SOLVO fails to deliver within the agreed or legally required period, the customer may exercise the cancellation and refund rights available under applicable law.

Where an agreed delivery date cannot be met, the customer may contact us to agree on a new delivery date or request another remedy available under the CPA.

Online cancellations and returns

Certain online purchases may qualify for the cooling-off and cancellation rights provided by ECTA, subject to its exclusions. The customer may be responsible for the direct cost of returning goods when cancelling under the statutory cooling-off right.

Faulty, unsafe or defective products are dealt with under our Returns and Refund Policy and the rights provided by the CPA. Nothing in this Shipping Policy excludes, restricts or replaces a customer’s statutory rights.

Personal information

We use delivery information only for legitimate purposes connected with processing and delivering orders, customer support, fraud prevention and legal compliance.

We may share the information reasonably required to complete delivery with Shopify, payment providers, couriers and relevant service providers. Personal information will be handled in accordance with POPIA and our Privacy Policy.
